Hex Chains is a compelling and strategic puzzle game that captivates users with its unique gameplay mechanics. In this puzzle adventure, your objective is to place and match four or more chips of identical value on a hexagonal grid to create a single, higher-value chip. The game encourages you to create chains of matches to enhance your score and gain access to bonus cards.

These special cards come into play as a toolkit for strategy; they enable you to perform a variety of actions such as transforming one chip into another, removing less desirable chips, or altering the placement of chips on the board to maximize your potential score. As players engage with the game, they will accumulate coins which can be invested in these cards, along with other upgrades and enhancements like expanding the number of cards you can hold.

The game offers three distinct modes to keep gameplay diverse and challenging:

1. Unlimited Mode: Dive into an endless supply of chips and play for as long as you can strategize your moves. When you hit a wall, cards become your lifeline, providing you with the flexibility to create space or morph chips into needed values to continue playing.

2. Short Mode: With a limit of 48 chips, precision and foresight are key. The challenge lies in maximizing your score with limited resources, and as you earn more coins, players can unlock additional chips, up to 24 more, to aid in their strategic pursuits.

3. Figures Mode: A twist on the standard play, this mode tasks players with placing chip figures onto the board to form chains. Rotating these figures to discover optimal placements, coupled with the use of cards, will test their ability to endure in the challenge.
